What’s
saving anyway? Well, generally ‘saving’ means preventing waste of a particular
resource.
The type of
saving that I’m gonna talk about right now is about ‘money saving’.
There’s a
saying: “A penny saved is a penny earned.” Now that doesn’t mean that you put a
dollar in your pocket & magically get another dollar!
‘Money-saving’
is not an art or something. It’s a habit. Just like you don’t brush your teeth
before going to bed. Anyway, let’s get back to the main question:
Why do we
need to save money? Simply because it allows you to enjoy greater security in
your life. If you have cash set aside for emergencies, you have a backup. And if
you have savings set aside for discretionary expenses, you may be able to take
risks or try new things. It helps protect you in the event of a financial
emergency. Additionally, saving money can help you pay for large purchases,
avoid debt, reduce your financial stress, leave a financial legacy & provide
you with a greater sense of financial freedom.
Now that you
know the importance of saving money, just go for it. One thing I want you to
know that ‘saving money’ isn’t something that will make you rich for sure but
still this is a great habit!
After all,
nobody could say when or where you’re gonna need money! Learn to save on your
own & thank me later.
